Gobuty Signs and Accepts Offer to Play Women's Basketball at SU - Israeli National Team member Marisa Gobuty (Sarasota, Fla./IMG Academy) has signed and accepted an offer to play women's basketball at Syracuse University.
Coach Hillsman and Marisa are happy to hear they are going to the NCAA tournament. This picture was featued on the front page of the Syracuse newspaper today.
Marisa was recently featured on the front page of the scholarly sports periodical "Orange" issued by Syracuse University. Marisa's basketball career looks more promising everyday.

Marisa Gobuty (16) immigrated to Israel just 6 years ago from the USA, and since she is starring on the B’nai Herzliya basketball club. She also has a dream: “the thing I want most is to play on the Israeli national team, I’ve been dreaming about it for years”.
Her next goal is to play Division I college basketball in the United States.
